Representatives from the Climate Change Consortium for Wales presented and chaired sessions at the 2012 International Conference on Marine Environmental Governance held in Taiwan 26-28th September. Dr Christopher Wooldridge from Cardiff University’s School of Earth and Ocean Sciences and Dr Jeanette Reis, Climate Change Consortium for Wales Outreach Officer for Policy presented papers on climate change and marine management. These raised some interesting questions and debate, particularly around the appropriateness of the Welsh response to climate change adaptation and whether there were lessons to be transferred between Eastern and Western governments.
